These are two of the coolest people I have had a chance to meet in my entire drift life. Rasmus’ answer was pure gold when I asked him if he minded me and Marc hot on his tail during his practice laps, “Do you have a car quick enough so that I don’t have to drive less than 100 percent?”

It is a terrible shame that the Scandinavian drift scene is gone largely unnoticed on this side of mainland Europe. The driving style is a hell of a lot banzai backed with real talent and even though half the world will disagree with me, what’s drifting without love taps and door to door battles? In Denmark I got to see sub 100 horsepower S12 missiles that were driven within an inch of their life and beyond, pro drivers taking blind crests sideways almost on full lock, and some men who just refuse to die building pro spec drift cars in less than a week.

Let us not for once forget what drifting is all about. Enjoy it together while it lasts, rather than bitch at each other and then wonder where the fun went.
