The Bawss.

It’s been a while since I slept properly, so pardon me if this all seems rushed or below par quality.
On Thursday, Speed Industries held a track day at Anneau du Rhin, offering drift as well as grip stints. One of the team members, Dino “Rocket” Rockstroh was mapping his car after he installed a new bigger turbo as well as new KW suspension. Halfway through the mapping and testing, he let me mount a camera onto him and film this.
If you like what you see, I really recommend you to check out http://speed-industries.ch/ for their next trackday at Nürburgring Nordschleife, the mother of all racetracks on the 31st of this month. Unlike normal track days or tourist days, Mr. Speed is offering open pit lane and open Döttinger Höhe. And you may use slicks if you are feeling lucky or happy. Or if you are plain mad.
Hope to see some new faces there!

I was told that they had rented out the entire racetrack, giving me plenty of mobility and freedom at and around the track for any of the wacky experimental shots I had in mind. Alex and Corinna picked me up next morning with both their cars on trailers and we set off.

Alex had just finished the build of his E36 with a 321hp I6 motor and an E46 front end conversion, and Corinna had her E30 with the 4.4l V8 in it, punching out an easy 340hp. Alex’s car was shod with a set of Alutec Toxic rims in matt graphite. Read More >>
Here’s Patrick Ritzmann, I believe currently the youngest drifter running in the International Drift Series, on his qualifying run at Round 6 at Eurospeedway Lausitz. I unearthed this video from its shallow digital grave today, thought I’d share. I screwed up the last title a bit, but what the hell
Recently a couple of my photographs popped up on Stanceworks front page, this inspired me to do a series myself of one of the most boyish thrills of the automotive sphere – burnouts.
